NBA All-Star 2024

 PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Drawing inspiration from Indianapolis as the "Crossroads of America" and the return of the East vs. West All-Star game format, AT&T's footprint at the 3-day fanfest leaned into the thematic of connecting (:tm:) NBA fans from east-to-west, across technology, culture, art, and fashion. Within NBA Crossover, fans visiting AT&T were treated to 4 tech-forward, unique, and immersive touchpoints, each highlighting different pillars of NBA culture:

Dribble Town + Splashville Two unique, larger-than-life video games, utilizing body and ball tracking technology to allow fans to become their own life-sized avatar. Both games integrated AT&T x NBA partner team mascots, along with NBA All-Star Paul George, who appeared at key in-game moments to offer real-time coaching and feedback.

  • Dribble Town: East-coast inspired dribbling game where players avoided obstacles and collected rewards.

  • Splashville: West-coast inspired shooting game where fans scored points in 60 seconds.

All-Star Mural An interactive LED mural created by viral digital artist Dave Arcade, celebrating NBA culture and the East-meets-West theme. Fans could digitally paint and draw on the mural, with an at-home Snapchat extension available as well.

Shai's Shop A futuristic, digital swag shop, featuring custom giveaways curated by NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Fans were greeted by a virtual SGA and encouraged to spin a physical basketball, in order to digitally unlock one-of-a-kind merch

All-Star Meet & Greets Throughout the weekend, fans met NBA talents like Paul George, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and the AT&T Slam Dunk contest contestants.
